Firefox 56.0.1 (64 Bit) Latest updates installed.

I can't use AOL for Mailto.

I use AOL as webmail. I want to use it for "MAILTO:" in Firefox. "Tools/Options/General/Mailto/Use other" gets me to: "Select Helper Application" - but this window does not allow me to type in any information (i.e. AOL etc).

I can't add AOL to Windows Default Programs (Window 7 Enterprise). I presume that is because it is webmail.

I didn't have this problem in my previous version of Firefox.

Can anyone help?

There is a way to register an email handler, but you would have to know what link (URL) to use to open a compose web page.
