How to uninstall the latest Firefox update and go back to previous version?

Yesterday I did update all on my Android device and Firefox was updated along with several other apps. Now I find the new version looks like crap on my device. Now maybe I can fix this by finding a better theme? But worse than that, none of my addons work any more! When I browse addons, none of the ones I use are shown. Clearly mozilla is filtering the list and only showing addons compatible with the currently running version. My addons do exist and are shown in the installed Add-ons list, but are all disabled and the only available button is uninstall. There appear to be no other compatible addons doing the same job available for the new version, and combine that with the crappy look of the new browser, I have to ask: How can I unistall the update and go back to previous version? On PC one can always find and download an older version and reinstall. Is such possible for the android firefox? Without my addons this new version is unusable for me.

Hi, we don't support using out of date versions of Firefox, if you really need an older version you can find it yourself from here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mobile/releases/56.0/

Many Thanks. Found the appropriate older version via your link and now running again. It wouldn't install over the newer version, so I had to do an uninstall first, which lost all my bookmarks etc. But once I'd installed from the apk and downloaded all my add-ons again, it works as good as before. I'll just have to be careful not to let Firefox upgrade itself in future, so I can stay with the version that works on my device. It's so sad that Mozilla has joined the ranks of Microsoft and other software providers, who think that continually changing to "new" and "different" is better than providing customers with what they really want in a stable, reliable and compatible way.
