How can I change my printer default settings from Landscape to Portrait so I do not have to select it each time?

I changed my HP to landscape for 1 document and now it continues to default to Landscape for both my Star (receipt) and HP printer. Checked printer settings on the computer itself but they are both set to Portrait.

There is a hidden preference which controls whether Firefox uses the "last used" setting for printer prefs. If you 'toggle' that pref to false. Firefox won't save the "last used" setting and the default OS setting should be honored.

Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter. Accept the warning message to continue. At the top enter print.save_ in the Search field.

Then double-click this pref print.save_print_settings to toggle it to false. Then you should restart Firefox.
