can scheduled messages be still sent even though when thunderbird is off/not running?

I already installed the "send later" add-on. Coz there's a pop up message that "send later can only send messages when Thunderbird is running." Is there a way that the messages can be sent as scheduled if I turn off my computer? and thunderbird is closed?
