When content is BLOCKED, is downloaded then blocked from view or is it even blocked from being downloaded? In other words, does it SAVE data?

When you consider it, we pay for the limited service but much of it is used downloading the ad data.

Assuming you're talking about an adblocker, it's the latter. And yes, it does save data. The point is not to just block ads, but also the invisible tracking scripts, which don't have any benefit to the user.

A good adblocker is Adblock Plus in connection with the corresponding filter lists. https://addons.mozilla.org/android/addon/adblock-plus/ https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions

There are other adblockers as well.
