Can Hotmail suspend or revoke my email account for using the integrated security features in Firefox (content blocking) ?

I tried switching from strict to recommended Disconnect.me list but even that blocked all adds at Hotmail.

Hello shedsomelightonthesubject721,

No, they can't suspend or revoke your email account, but they sure can make your life miserable ......

It's either : disable the ad blocker(s) and put up with the ads or pay us a huge amount of money  !

See this article .....

This is not about Firefox Content Blocking, which does not block ads - this is just about money .....

If you want, you could post a question or start a discussion about this on the official Microsoft support forum :

I use Mozilla's Thunderbird e-mail browser. The only thing on the screen is what I want.

@McCoy yes it seemed sort of strange that it implied I had an adblocker. They should just be truthful and say I'm blocking their tracking attempts. I would go to microsoft answers but I would probably just end up getting frustrated there.

@FredMcD your suggestion sounds like it would be my best alternative for now.

Thank you both for being there for us Firefox users :)
