Since updating to Thunderbird 68.2.2 on Debian Linux the important addon CardBook does not work anymore because it is not compatible...

Anyone experienced the same behavior?

The first Thunderbird startup after update brought up the notification "Install Thunderbird and disable CardBook". Is there any solution in the pipe?

CardBook 43 is installed and running here in TB 68.2.2/W10. If you have the same version of the add-on, does removing it and reinstalling make any difference?
