Hi I have followed the instructions here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switch-pop-imap-account

to change my email account to "IMAP"

Thunderbird now lists the POP3 account above the IMAP account.

I have moved all the messages and folders from the POP3 account and IMAP is working OK. I now want to delete the POP3 account. When I go Tools - Account settings - Account actions I get message "An account with this name already exist"

Advice please on how to proceed in removing the POP3 account

the cursor in blinking in the account name waiting for you to enter something that will resolve the duplication. Perhaps a 1 on the end and click ok.
