When I am taken to a log in page or an account page on several completely different websites, I can see random peoples personal information like their full names, email addresses and phone numbers. When I go to one website, it automatically logs in to someone else's account and I have no idea who the person is. each time I click on the link, it brings up a new random person's account and info. It's not just happening on one website. I have no idea how this is happening and I worry that my account information is popping up on other peoples screens just like theirs is popping up on mine. I don't even know who to contact to try to resolve the problem. I even tried to call the Federal Trade Commision, but they didn't seem to care or want to help.

Is this on your computer or a public one? Are others using your computer? Is so, set up a separate user account on your computer for each user.

Do other people, or have other people, used that same computer?

If this is your computer (Don't delete other people's info on their computers!) :

You can clear anything which Firefox has saved. Click the Library button on the toolbar. Click History Click Clear Recent History At the top of the little window, where it says Time range to clear, select Everything. Mark all the check boxes (at least for this once). Click Clear Now.

Click the Menu button Click Options Click Privacy & Security on the left side of the page Scroll down to the Logins and Passwords section Click the Saved Logins... button

From here you can remove any site logins which are not yours.

Again, if this is someone else's machine, don't delete their logins. If it is a used machine someone else gave you, then yes, one might expect to find such login and saved form information, if they did not clean their stuff out.

This is my own personal computer and no one else uses it. There is no reason I should be able to see random people's log in and info.

Are you using sync? If so, shut it down.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

Restart Firefox. Is the problem still there?

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

If the data is too big, do not worry. It's the top part we need to look at.
