I recently updated from FF55 to the newest version, FF79.

After updating, I'm unable to delete entries in the autocomplete list from the address bar by selecting them with the arrow keys and pressing the Delete key like I used to be.

It seems to have been removed in an update, as it's reproducible on my work PC with the newest ESR version.

Is there a way to restore that functionality or is there an addon I can use for that?

Yes, in current Firefox releases you need to use Shift+Delete to remove an entry you select (highlight) with the cursor Down key. This is now the same on all platforms, previously Shift+Delete was only used on Mac and Delete on Windows and Linux.

I think that it's Shift + Delete now.
