Hello there Ibrionesj
Oké,good. Can you send me the pop-up from the message please?
Do you use still port 25?
It s the old port option.
-SMTP port 587 is one of the best choices for nearly every use case for connecting to Pepipost -Port 25 is the default port used for relaying -Port 465 should no longer be used at all -Port 2525 used when all other port is blocked
Greetings Firefox Volunteer.
On TB v78 the minimum requirement for SSL has increased and probably your email service provider still use deprecated security for the mail server. Can you try to set lowest security by following below steps and let us know how it works?
From the menu at the top right, go to Options. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Config Editor -> Skip past the warning. Scroll down until you find security.tls.version.min (or paste security.tls.version.min to upper frame) Change the value 3 to 2. Restart TB. If it's still not working then change again same option but this time to 1. Restart TB.
Hello there Ibrionesjr
THE use of a certain anti virus program also can block certain things.
But some dirt can come together and block something in the software from trying to send messages to the other messenger, reciever.
Turn of the antivirus for some time and add-ons.
To see something goes that way of failure in the option of sending.
And also your fire wall could be checked that way.
Send me back a message after trying.
Greetings Firefox Volunteer.

Reasons for SMTP server timed out in Thunderbird
A problem might occur when there when ISP detects spam or virus on port 25. Sending emails is blocked due to Antivirus or Windows Firewall on the system. When the SSL/TLS server is not set. Wrong fill of SMTP port at the time of configuration of the account.
