I am signed into Firefox on desktop and mobile using the same email. I've enabled sync and have synced. Yet my passwords from the mobile browser still don't show on desktop. And the instructions to scan a QR code don't work because they state to click the "sync and save data" option on Android, which doesn't exist for me. How do I sync?

You normally connect to Sync by using the email address and password of the Firefox Sync account. Are you using the Primary Password on desktop in case not using it might cause it (on Android OS authentication is used)

You can install the About Sync extension to check what data is stored on the Sync server via the about:sync page provided by this extension.

Close and restart Firefox to access the about:sync page added by this extension (see the about:about page for possible about pages).
