So I am watching a video for a class and that video player has its own closed captioning and when I am watching the video there is a different closed captioning appearing over the video even though it is not the one from the video player. I attached an image of what I see.

What happens if you click the CC button to toggle the closed caption feature ?

Toggling it just turns on and off the top closed captioning that is provided by the site, I can't figure out how to turn the lower one off.

Are you sure that the remaining caption text isn't coming from the website (i.e. part of the video) if that doesn't react to clicking this button what would suggest that you toggle the Firefox vtt feature  ?

I tried the same website in Chrome and it does not have the same issue.
