Tools > Options > Content, is "Enable JavaScript" checked?

Do you have any script-blocking add-ons, like NoScript?

I also gets this problem only when I use internet banking. While doing any transaction, i get message "21996 Javascript disabled in browser" I therefore forced to use internet explorer for all my banking transactions.

Besides the above problem, I am also facing problem with opening online pdf files thru firefox. And therefore for both i have to use IE.

I am using windows 7 ultimate version without any virus / proxy / blocking software.

Pl solve both the problems.
