Issue

I have another kind of problem with Firefox

Description

I am lesbian and recently I surfed the internet looking for l*****n stuff. Today when I started my Firefox, it opened a porn site automatically. Now it does that every time I start Firefox. How can I get rid of this? Please help.

Hmmm I'm not a Lesbian either but like Matt and yourself .... ;)

Anyway forgetting that there are several things that could be causing this Amy.

1) When you close Firefox it asks you if you want to "Save and Quit" or "Quit". If you choose "Save and Quit" then Firefox will always try to reopen the tabs you had open in your last session including the porn site if that was one of them.

If you select "Quit" and it still happens ....

2) Open the Tools -> Options dialog. - On the General tab you'll see the start up options. - Pick the option you want from the drop down list. - Check that the porn site hasn't set itself as your homepage.

If you've done both those and it's still opening the porn site ...

3) Check your anti virus software is up to date and run a full system scan. If you don't have anti-virus software then get some! AVG free is a good option if you don't want to spend any money.
