how to save password and username second time after pressing by mistake "never for this site" option when firefox asked to remember passwords for gmail for first time?
By mistake i pressed "Never for this site" when firefox first offered to remember my login details first time on gmail.com. Now how can i save my username and password for gmail.com. firefox no longer asks me to save any new login details... How can i re enable that notification to save passwords.

Remove the site from the exceptions: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Exceptions
See Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox
hi cor-el, thanks for reply..
there are no sites in exceptions list. firefox remember my previous user names and passwords.. but if i enter new usernames and passwords .. it does not show notification to save passwords. help. how can i manually enter usernames and passwords in password manager.. or make it show notification to show passwords again?
I did this by mistake and it does not appear in the exceptions list, but I still cannot save passwords. Help!
- Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode. In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and features like visited links and disabled and not available.
- You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing", possibly grayed.
- You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
- To see all History settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Uncheck: [[ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
