I uninstalled everything of Firefox. before I did so I backed up my bookmarks. When I reinstalled Firefox and tried to import my bookmarks, they were save in a different file format that just says "file" as it's type. I tried to import it but it doesn't work! I renamed it bookmark.html but it still didn't work! WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!

If you created a JSON backup then you should give the file a .json file extension to make Firefox recognize it as such. If you have changed the file extension to .html then you probably need to add quotes around the name ("bookmarks.json") when renaming. Windows can be quite stubborn sometimes when changing a file extension, so you need to check the file type via the right-click context menu in the Properties.
