I love firefox, big supporter, converting friends, family and co-workers all the time.

Working with 17" or 30" widescreens, I used Fox Splitter (formerly split browser) to divide my browsing in three panes, and opening more tabs within each pane.

Ever since FF4.0 beta was out, many on Fox Splitter extension comments have requested updates, and I have emailed the developer personally to see if he will be releasing an update to deaf ears.

Now that I'm prepared to live without it, I just can't find any combination of workflow with other extensions that mimic what Fox Splitter did. Does anyone one else have a clue? I have even installed Nightly Tester Tool to make it compatible with FF4.0 but somehow this breaks the "multiple tabs within the split pane" function.

Need some advice on this. I would hate to have to switch back to FF3.
