Sorry about that - Firefox should be available in all countries, so this sounds like a mistake or bug with the Android Market. If you let us know which country you are in, it might help us fix the problem.

If you can't get Firefox from the Android Market, you can also try using the "directly from our FTP server" link on this page: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android

Thanks very much for the link mbrubeck - I managed to install from the APK as you suggested.

I'm in Dubai in the UAE - could be local restrictions :-(

Thanks for the extra info. We double-checked our Android Market settings, and removed some restrictions that were accidentally set. As soon as the new settings take effect, Firefox should be available through the Android Market in all countries.

The problem with the market should be resolved now. You'll want to re-install from the market so you get security updates in the future.
