What kind of videos give you problems?

Flash, Windows Media Player or QuickTime or another player?

That is Flash.

You do have the Flash player installed according to your More system details list, so Flash should be working.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

When using FIREFOX, I try to view videos sent to me by e-mail (mpg), and they only play a brief portion of the video. I also am unable to login to "linkd in" website through Firefox. I have no problem with either task if I am using Internet Explorer. Why?
