How do i eliminate the Firefox Start Page?
Whenever i open the newly re-installed Firefox, it opens the "Mozilla Firefox Start Page" as well as my homepage in a 2nd tab. I do not use Google. I do not want it on my browser session.

Did you check for multiple home pages?
- https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page - Firefox supports multiple home pages separated by '|' symbols
Firefox 4+ versions use a new build-in home page named about:home with a Google search bar on it (no internet access needed to load that page).
That about:home page only shows some snippets and has a button to restore the previous session if applicable.

You can set your homepage manually, see:

Thanks a lot, cor-el! It was driving me nuts. Setting up a new HD is for the birds.
