There's one thing with the clipboard that really wasn't well thought AT ALL. Why does firefox erase its clipboard when it closes ? Did you guys think about people copy/pasting something from the net to their word processor ? Or like what happened to me a few seconds ago, you're writing a mail for like an hour, then you copy the whole thing to the clipboard in case Firefox crashes, as it does a lot recently... Then as expected firefox crashes, and of course you lose all your clipboard content. Doesn't happen with other browser or software.

Clearing the clipboard when Firefox closes is a security feature.

You really need to do a bit of troubleshooting to find out what is causing Firefox to crash, and fix the issue.

Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox location bar (that's where you enter your website names) and press Enter. You should now see a list of submitted crash reports.
  2. Copy the most recent 5 report IDs that you see in the crash report window and paste them into your forum response.

Thanks in advance for your help!
