Whenever I am typing in the search bar, or the menu bar, an irritating drop-down menu appears. When I am in a regular page and try to tab from text box to text box the same #@#$ thing happens.

Whenever I hit "Command C" to copy and later paste--same stupid drop-down. It is so irritating I am down grading FF to 13 until it is solved.

Solution eye eponami

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Here is the problem for the next fool who messes with settings:

Preferences --> Advanced --> Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available

I did this after opening in Safe Mode
