When searching for tickets on Ticketmaster, Firefox hangs at the point where it is "searching for tickets" and does not progress.

I am working on a Mac with Lion. Whenever I go to the Ticketmaster website and search to purchase tickets, Firefox hangs on the page which states "searching for tickets." I cleared my cookies, emptied my cache and reset Firefox disabling plugins, but nothing has fixed the problem. It occurs in safe mode as well. I do not have this problem when using Safari or Google Chrome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to uninstall (trash) the current Firefox version and download an install the latest Firefox 14.0.1 version.

You can find the latest Firefox release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:

Sorry for asking a stupid question, but I am unsure how to uninstall it from a Mac.

I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox, but it still did not work. Then, I uninstalled it, and deleted my profiles file after backing up my bookmarks. That did the trick! Finally!!! Thank you so much for your help. I really do appreciate it.
