I had chronic diseases so my finger is not as flexible as ordinary person.I think. So I can double-tap to zoom in/out in ICS's stock brower, but I really can't do it in firefox(& chrome). My father can do it,I can't, so I know it's my finger's problem.: (

I think that the reason is speed.Firefox's double-tap speed is too fast. The time between two click is too short for me? Can I modify it? I read the whole about:config but have no idea about it. Help me,I really love firefox,I don't want to give up it

The double click and similar settings tend to be set and be adjustable at the Operating System level.

Maybe if you try Android forums someone will suggest a solution, either as some setting or possibly some sort of accessibility app is available. I am not an Android user and have no idea what is available, does this link help ?

As far as I know there is not a double-tap API,all of double-tap action is ddetected by the single click * 2,and implemented by the app.I have some 3rd app that I double-tap them with no-problem.So I think this is not a Operating System problem,Maybe firefox can solve it?
