When submitting the online payment details, including my credit card details, I got an untrusted connection warning. I clicked "Get me out of there" and Firefox returned me to a new search page. Does it mean that all the credit card details I typed in had been removed from the seller's web page?

If you submitted a form, then the data ended up on a remote server. It cannot be deleted by Firefox or any other browser.

Before panicking, see the following article.

What is the site in question, and what security software do you use? Security software with an SSL or HTTPS filtering feature can trigger that message.

Thanks for your reply. Upon clicking the <Submit> button, I got the above said warning and Firefox got me out of there. So I think I might not have actually submitted the form.
