You just get an error message that this url can not be loaded. resetting to default doesn't solves it for that session if you hit the home button the page will load. But if you start a new session the same error message pops up and no home page. This has happened since the version update.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
