Do you want to change that box to a different search engine? Or would you rather just use a new home page?

To change your home page, you can use the methods listed in this article: How to set the home page.

Changing the built-in home page is a bit trickier. I'd have to research it in past threads here based on which search engine you prefer (e.g, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, etc.).
