Why does Dell charge $15 to load Firefox on a new laptop? I can do it for free, right?
I am planning to purchase a new laptop. have been Firefox user and supporter for years. Noticed that Dell would charge $15 to pre load Firefox on the laptop when it's shipped. Seems unnecessary since I can download when I get the laptop. Am I wrong? Thanks

Firefox itself is free, so yes, you can install it yourself and save the $15. Please download your installer from https://www.mozilla.org/.
It's probably premature to get into the question of how best to move your personal data (bookmarks, saved passwords, etc.) to the new computer, but here are some links to get you started:
- Physical copying: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer, Recover important data from an old profile
- Firefox Sync (cloud-based): Use Sync to share your Firefox bookmarks, passwords and more with Firefox for mobile
