One of my sites (www.dminkler.com/art.html) no longer shows css/javascript tabs (domtabs) in FF on Linux or Windows. These tabs appear (as they always have) in Safari, Chrome, and IE. The tabs appear in my Linux Chrome as well.

The links for the tabs appear above the content div, along with some of the css, but the tabs have left the building.

I have cleared all of the caches for all of the browsers noted above, and the other browsers render the tabs just as they should, on my Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 platforms.

I also checked the FF version and "Reset" it. Still no tabs.

Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

Works here on Linux.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Edit > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Later that day I refreshed my Chromium and found the problem there too. :( It self-resolved by the next morning, so I didn't get a chance to try the recommended solution.

Whatever happened to resolve it, well, whew! I spent hours banging my head against FF Firebug before finally pushing back.

But THANK YOU cor-el for responding! It is very kind of you, and the recommendation was thought out well! I believe I actually had already stepped through it before posting here.
