My old device is dead. Got a new Samsung but I am unable to synchronised my old firefox profile including bookmarks, history etc as the old profile is not on the list.

I need to recover my old profile onto my new device

I am an administrator in a company where we currently use Microsoft Intune for software distribution. We are currently deploying Firefox 76.0, which automatically updates itself and is no longer at version 76.0. However, we are planning to switch to the Firefox ESR version.

In our organization, we are not allowed to use Mozilla accounts for syncing passwords and bookmarks due to internal policies. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible for our users, with as much automation as possible, while still ensuring that they can sync their passwords and bookmarks effectively without relying on Mozilla accounts.

Is there a way to achieve this, perhaps through a third-party tool or another method that integrates well with Intune and respects our privacy requirements?

Any guidance or suggestions to make this process smooth and user-friendly would be greatly appreciated!

Pour exemple, lorsque Mozilla installe une mise à jour automatique, nos différents comptes, sur Gmail ou le site "Le Bon Coin", se bloquent et m'alertent d'un problème de sécurité. Pour certains comptes cela devient catastrophiques, car nous avons dans la famille, 2 téléphones qui ne captent pas dans la maison et nous sommes obligés de sortir de notre domicile pour obtenir le code (c'est chouette en hiver lorsqu'il fait froid et qu'il pleut; désolé d'habiter à la campagne!!). Ces problèmes n'existaient pas deux ou trois ans en arrière. Depuis je n'ai trouvé aucune solution! Je souhaitais surtout être sûr que ces problèmes émanaient du petit Renard; 15 ans que j'utilise Mozilla. Ces problèmes récurrents sont problématiques pour toute la famille, puisque mes parents rencontrent exactement les mêmes problèmes. Merci de nous venir en aide. Cordialement.

Thunderbird was upgraded omn my Windows 10 machine and will not open. When I try to open this mesage comes up "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Thunderbird. Do you want to restart now?". I tried the restart many times but the message keeps coming up. I tried downloading the current version and when it tries to repair the install, the same message comes up. So then I just tried to uninstall it from my computer and the same message continues to come up. Can someone offer some advice? I have been a Thunderbird user for about 30 years and it always has worked well. Thank You

my Firefox was working just fine, and I did an update this morning and now nothing works. My Firefox will not install and nothing that works with Firefox will work. I tried to uninstall the Firefox that I had and it doesn't even show up on the list of programs any more, so I can't do an uninstall.

In my control panel programs and features I have 2 versions of Firefos GB and US. When i click on about in Firefox it does not show which version i am on GB or US. I want to delete US but want to make sure i delete the right one as I have bookmarks

Also when Windows starts up i get 2 Firefox browsers open. How can I get rid of the one I dont want as first one has my favs

The latest update is requiring me to reinstall all of my email accounts. Need to go back and re-establish all accounts with email name, passwords etc. Very disappointing and will take me a couple of hours to fix things.

New layout is not appealing nor functional. A step backwards.

If further experiences are like this, I will remove Thunderbird from my systems.

So my Question is is there any way to prevent Firefox to change the Profile after Updating. Because i work in IT thats why the Security is a Problem so i cant just leave an older Version on every System. The Problem is the Customer dont want to change it everytime.

I would really appreciate it if someone has an Solution. 😊

Recently, I upgraded my TB to 128.0.1esr (64 bit). After the upgrading, I encountered the following problems. (I am using IMAP to communicate with the email accounts. )

1) For some new email in the inbox, the email content could not be show, ie the email body is blank.

2) Those read email but still kept in inbox and other folders were not downloaded.

Please advise how to fix the problems.

I donated $20 and tried to download. No instructions were given after that. I could not find Thunderbird on my computer. It isn't there. There's no place I can go to get help. Stan

I can’t seem to update my Firefox acct. I’ve tried updating it several times and I can’t tell if the update happened. When I try to sign into my Chase acct, it keeps telling me that I need to update the version.
