I have Linux. I used to use my YahooMail with no problem. Now I can't and I can't even update Firefox so it works entirely. How do I get it to work again?

I can see my Yahoo email but I don't have all the functions. For instance, I can't delete, attach, etc. in my yahoo mail. It worked just fine before. It tells me to update Firefox and I do the "download" and "save file" instruction, but I don't get the next step "run". I have Linux operating system. Been using my Firefox Yahoo Mail for years.

There are two ways to get the latest version of Firefox:

  • Use the version of Firefox provided by your distribution. Use the package management mechanisms of your distribution to install Firefox.
  • Download Firefox from mozilla.org/firefox

Also see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux

Then get rid of your ancient version 3.6 you're running now.
