Chosen solution

Most email providers have an export function and it would export the address book. You will have to get those instructions from your provider.

In Thunderbird the Import option is on the menu bar in the address book under Tools. Here are instructions for Yahoo but they should be similar for most providers.

You cannot do this directly. You will need to export your address book from your web based solution and then import the file into Thunderbird.

Thunderbird can import LDIF or CSV files.

I guess this may be a silly question but how do I do that? If I figure that out do I have to do each one individually or can I save them in CSV form as a group? Thank you for your reply!
