Since the "upgrade" (HA) I am unable to copy and paste from any website to any other application. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to copy a link to paste in an email or Facebook, or copy an image to put in a Word document.

Please don't bother telling me about using "ctrl+" shortcuts. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS DO NOT WORK. RIGHT-CLICKING DOES NOT WORK. There is a bug in this version. I've had to give up FF and switch to Chrome to copy and paste. This bug exists on all four Win 7 machines that I currently use, 2 on my home network and 2 on my work network.

Please release a fix for this problem!

In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run

After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset).

Any difference?

Maybe do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
