Hello.

Running version 31.4.0 . I have my Layout as "Wide View". It's been fine for years.

Today i resized the message pane to be almost as large as the whole program window, but there's still 2.5 Subject lines visible. Unfortunately, the line where the cursor changes to an up+down cursor, for resizing the message pane, has disappeared! I've exited the program and reentered and it hasn't helped. :(

In the image you can still see the double horizontal line under the folders, but it's not across the divider, nor across the top of the message pane. In any case, even under the folders, the double line is not grab-able with a cursor to resize the pane vertically.

Any suggestions?

Solved myself!

Perhaps this is obvious to everyone else, but it wasn't to me.

The problem was that the message pane appeared to have "slid under" the pane with the list of message Subjects. After wasting a lot of time trying to figure out what went wrong, i was still able to read the messages listed. Luckily i received one that gave me the idea to change the size of the WHOLE window, not just the message pane. As i did that, i saw that the line slid back down, below the point where there were 3 full Subject lines, and was grab-able again.

I have to say that this behavior, being possible to slide the divider to a point that it isn't movable again, does not seem like a "feature". I won't go as far as to say it is a bug... but i won't be surprised if other people have the same problem.

Thunderbird and Firefox... still the best. Thank you.

I don't know why the graphic didn't upload. I'm trying again.
