Not able to watch Youtube videos with Flashblock (1.5.18) active. Have also tried Flash Block (4.20.13) native for Firefox and have same problem. Using Windows 8.1 desktop. The white play arrow doesn't activate when cursor in on the Flashplayer. Videos on other sites seem OK.

hello RMcM, as an alternative to those addons you could also go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > plugins & set shockwave flash or other plugins to "always ask" before they activate - maybe also in conjunction with https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/click-to-play-per-element/

That sounds like it might be a viable workaround, but I'm hoping to get proper functionality from Flashblock. It had been working since I installed it about a year ago. I don't watch Youtube a lot, but it worked OK a few days ago.

in this case please directly contact the extension developers through the means provided at their homepage - they can likely give you more detailed guidance and are the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in the addon for new firefox versions. thank you...
