I access a website that uses a p3p policy to specify how 3rd party cookies are used. IE recognized the policy. FF doesn't. I have to explicitly allow 3rd party cookies in FF to access the site. I do not have to do that in IE.

hello, you're right - firefox doesn't support p3p at all (& that is by intention, see bug 225287 for example)...
