Recently had to completely remove/reinstall all programs due to massive virus/worm, etc. problems. Subsequently lost my entire e-mail account. I now have a new account, but lost all saved e-mail folders and address book. How can I reinstall the old account on my desktop?

The easiest thing would be to restore your Thunderbird profile from a backup. This assumes you actually did create a backup.

I had my stuff backed up on Nordic. I didn't see anything like Mozilla Firefox e-mail. As far as the e-mail itself, I didn't create any backup for that. I know only a little about computers beyond using them for e-mail and occasional purchases in e-bay, etc. Can I get more detailed info on how to retrieve my address book?
