I can't upload a file (with FileReference.upload(), if you want to know details) to the server with self-signed certificate. Problem occurs on Mac and Windows, other browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari) works fine. Tried installing certificate to the system certificates, to the Firefox itself, nothing helps.

What is the exact error that you are getting? In order to troubleshoot the certificate the error message that comes up will give a clue to what might be causing the error.

Did you import the certificate to the root in the Certificate Manager?
