I can't save my sent emails to the Sent folder. Why? And how to sort it out?

When I Send emails, I get two messages: the first says that there was an error saving the email to the Sent folder and asking if I would like to try again or cancel. The second message, in a small window off to the top right, says there was an error saving the message to the Sent folder and adding that "the [TRYCREATE] Folder doesn't exist (Failure)." How can I resolve this please?

right click the account and select subscribe. Is a sent folder listed for you to subscribe to? What mail provider? GMail and outlook.com in particular are problematical. What anti virus? Do you see this issue if you disable email scanning in your anti virus product?
