I'd like to remove the "Options" tab that now appears with all other tabs every time FF version 43.0.1 starts. Instructions online for removing the Options tab in FF version 38, (go to about:config and locate Browser.preferences.incontent and change its status to False) does not work, because there is NO Browser.preferences.incontent line in the about:config section for version 43.0.1. Thank you.

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.startup.homepage.

Click on this to edit. Look for |about:preferences#general or |about:preferences and remove it.
