Do you only want Firefox not to remember the password for this website or do you e=want to disable the Password Manager completely like posted above?

If you click never then Firefox should remember this choice unless you remove the Site Preferences.

  • Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
  • Clearing Cookies will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an allow exception that you want to keep.

Can you confirm that you still want to use the Password Manager to save the password for some websites?

You can see Site Preferences as a possible choice in "Clear history when Firefox closes" and for clearing recent history. To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
