Mozilla Thunderbird 38.5.0 Crash ID: bp-457fd0f2-1613-43bc-889a-d45da2151007 Win7 64x Pro, all updates. The program dies immediately at the start today. Windows Recovery didn't help. No new devices, no new drivers installed. All other programs work normally.

The crash is a shutdown hang, these are often caused by anti virus programs. press Alt+Ctrl+delete, select task manager. check the processes tab for Thunderbird and kill the task. Then try restarting.
