I need to backup my e-mail, all folders, to a back up drive. Automatic backup is not doing this - says the source drive is too large - so I have to manually backup data. I am looking for a way to back up all e-mail and address book without having to copy massive dos directories.

It's recommended to backup the entire Thunderbird profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_backing-up-a-profile
