Just using Adblock Plus and Firefox internal adblock is not enough to block all popups from, errr, popping up. I tried changing "dom.popup_allowed_events default" to blank in about:config. That worked, no more popups but I could not upload any thing as it also blocked the file browsing popup -.- I want to ask if there's a way to block every popup apart from the file browsing popup.

You would be best to discuss this with the support fora of addblock software.

There is a continual cat and mouse war between ad providers and ad blockers. Please remember that although some sites have many and intrusive ads, other sites are providing free information, and ads may be their only or main source of revenue.
