Some web sites videos freeze, my add ons say that Adobe Flash 19 is vulnerable and not to use it, I have Adobe 22.0.0.152 installed on my computer, why doesn't Firefox use that version? I have Fire Fox version 47.0.1 installed. Maye its not Adobe that is my Firefox problem, any ideas?

Don't know why I don't see version 19 in my program list..

My guess is that the Adobe installer updates the entry in the Uninstall a Program dialog on the assumption that it successfully cleaned out the old version. If the old plugin was in use by Firefox at the time, that could explain why the installer didn't actually remove it.

You have multiple versions of Flash installed. Uninstall the version 19 using your control panel, and the version 22 should work. If not, uninstall it as well and download a fresh version from adobe.com

(Or, alternatively, uninstall Flash altogether. It is possible you don't even need it and your internet browsing will be much safer if you do not have Flash installed)

Adobe has a cleanup tool for system with conflicting Flash versions if the control panel method doesn't work.

I don't find version 19 in my list of programs but when I look at Firefox add ons it thinks there is a version 19 installed. I downloaded a fresh version of Adobe Flash 22 today and no difference. If I were to remove all of the Adobe flash versions what would Firefox use to play videos? I have a 32 and 64 bit version of Adobe Flash 22 installed.

Flash Player 22.0.0.192 has been the current since June 16. There was no Flash Player 22.0.0.152 version as the previous Flash Player Release was 21.0.0.242

Run the Flash uninstaller https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html then install the NPAPI version for Windows from https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

Make sure Firefox is completely closed/exited first before uninstalling and installing the Flash Player.

Sorry about that it is 192 that I have not 152. When i look at the Firefox add ons it shows both the version 22 and 19. Right now since I can't find the version 19 to uninstall, i have it checked to "never activate" and the version 22 checked as " ask to activate" Does that sound right to you? Don't know why I don't see version 19 in my program list..
