How do I add links to the Reading List without opening them first?

I'd like to be able to add links directly to my reading list, without first opening the webpage. I like to browse the homepages on a couple of different websites and stack up the articles to read later (such as on the bus home). I used to be able to do this by a long tap on the link, but the option to add to reading list isn't there. I could add the link to my bookmarks, but I can't then access it offline later. Is there a way to add links directly to the reading list?

As long as you load a page that has links you wanna add to the Reading List, you can. Tap&hold each link and choose "Add to Reading List".

Yeah, so I haven't updated the app before writing. They turned the Reading List off. Ridiculous. That was one of my favorite things about Firefox for Android.
