I've tried to have all downloaded files go to a folder on my desktop but the only location they go seems to be the temp folder. As shown in the question the files are supposed to go to (C:\Users\Barry\Desktop\Newest Downloads ) since I went the following location - (Options>General>Downloads>Save Files to> ) Anyone know how to fix this?

Note: Some software, like Advanced SystemCare with Surfing Protection, can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes. If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software.
