When I use print selected text it begins to print half way down the first page. How can I correct this?

I select print button and use print select text that I have highlighted on screen but when I attempt to print that area it begins to print half way down the page and it takes an additional page to print what I need. Any way to fix this problem?

Ugh, this is one of those old problems that just never gets fixed. Sigh.

There are some extensions that let you work around this problem, for example:

Nuke Anything Enhanced https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nuke-anything-enhanced/

After installing this add-on, when you have a selection and right-click it, you can choose "Remove everything else" to isolate the text for printing. Then print normally, i.e., don't use Print Selection.

Note that you need to reload the page to see the rest of the content again.
