Problem statement: Email mask is presented to users in email app, either in the inbox/outbox list views, or when opening emails. Obviously this hides the real email address that is involved in the communication, and overall obscures the communication process to the end user.

Spammers for instance abuse the communication trust as they send an email from what may look like a legitimate bank, but is really a scammer posing as the bank, ie phishing scam.

Solution: Make the real email address visible in its own dedicated field and show this as a column in Thunderbird in the inbox/outbox, and present it in opened emails.

This will allow users to clearly see who they are really communicating with.
